탈무드 미쉬나 p61(Sheviit-p4)

They may besmear saplings, wrap them around, and trim them, and they may make for them shelters and water them until Rosh Hashanah. Rosh Hashanah (유대교 새해명절)까지 묘목을 덮고, 감싸고, 가지치기 하고 , 보호대를 만들고, 물을줄 수 있습니다. 

 

Rabbi Elazar bar Zadok says: he may even water the foliage on the sabbatical year, but not the roots. 랍비 엘라자르 바 자도크는  안식년에 잎에 물을 줄 수 있지만, 뿌리에는 물을 주지 않는다고 말합니다. 

 

  They may oil unripe figs and pierce them until Rosh Hashanah.  Rosh Hashanah.(유대교 새해명절)까지  설익은 무화과에 (빨리 익히기 위해)기름을 바르고 구멍을 뚫을 수 있습니다. 

 

Unripe figs of the sixth year which have [remained on the tree] until the seventh year, or of the seventh year which have remained on the tree until the eighth year, they may not oil them or pierce them. 6년째해의 덜 익은 무화과가 7년째 해까지 남아있거나, 7년째해의 안익은 무화과가 8년째 해까지 남아있는경우  기름을 바르거나 구멍을 뚫어서는 안 됩니다. 

 

 Rabbi Judah says: In a place where it was the custom to oil, one may not oil them, since that would be considered work; but in a place where it was not the custom to oil, they may oil them. 랍비 유다는 말합니다.: 기름을 바르는 것이 관습인 곳에서는  일로 간주되므로 기름을 바를 수 없습니다. 그러나 기름을 바르는 것이 관습이 아닌 곳에서는 기름을 바를 수 있습니다. 

 

Rabbi Shimon permitted in connection with the tree, because he is permitted to do all work for the tree. 랍비 시몬은 나무를 위해 하는 모든 일이 허용되기 때문에 나무와 관련된 행위를 허용했습니다. 

 

They may not plant or graft, or sink [vine-hoots] in the sixth year within thirty days of Rosh Hashanah. 6년째 해에는 Rosh Hashanah(유대교 새해)  30일전에 포도나무 싹을 묻거나 접붙이거나  나무를 심을 수  없습니다. 

 

If he has planted or grafted, he must uproot. 만일 (6년째해에 유대새해 30일전에) 나무를 심거나 접붙였다면 뿌리를 뽑아야 합니다. 

 

Rabbi Judah says: any grafting that has not taken root within three days will never do so. 랍비 유다는 3일 이내에 뿌리를 내리지 못한 접목은 절대로 뿌리를 내릴 수 없다고 말합니다. 

 

Rabbi Yose and Rabbi Shimon say: two weeks. 랍비 요세와 랍비 시몬은 2주 안에 뿌리를 내리지 못한 접목은 절대로 뿌리를 내리지 못한다고 말합니다. 

 

  Rice, millet, poppy and sesame that had taken root before Rosh Hashanah must be tithed according to the previous year, and are permissible in the seventh year. Rosh Hashanah(유대교 새해)전에 뿌리내린 벼, 기장, 양귀비, 참깨는 전년도에 따라 십일조를 내야하며 7년째 해에도 사용이 가능합니다. 

 

①If they did not then they are forbidden in the seventh year, and are tithed according to the year following.  7년째 해에 열매를 따지  못했다면 다음해에 (열매의 1/10) 10일조를 바칩니다. 

 

  Rabbi Shimon Shezuri says: Egyptian beans which he sowed for seed only, are like them. 랍비 시몬 셰주리는 씨앗만 뿌린 이집트 콩도 위①과 같다고 말합니다.  

 

Rabbi Shimon says: large beans, are [also] like them. 랍비 시몬은 큰 콩도 위 ① 과 같다고 말합니다. 

 

But Rabbi Elazar says: large beans, if they began to form pods before Rosh Hashanah..랍비 엘라자르는 큰 콩은 Rosh Hashanah.(유대교 새해)전에 껍질이 형성되기 시작했을때 위 ①과 같다고 말합니다. 

 

Seedless onions and Egyptian beans from which he withheld water for thirty days prior to Rosh Hashanah are tithed with the preceding year, and are permitted in the seventh year. Rosh Hashanah (유대교 새해)전 30일동안 물을 주지않은 씨 없는 양파와 이집트 콩은 전해의 농작물과 함께 십일조를 납부해야하며, 7년째 해에도 사용할 수 있습니다. 

 

And if not, they are forbidden in the seventh, and are tithed according to the following year. 그렇지 않은 경우 7년째 안식년에 사용을 금지하고 그 다음해에 십일조를 납부합니다. 

 

And [seedless onions and Egyptian beans grown in a] rain-irrigated field from which two periods of rain have been withheld, the words of Rabbi Meir. But the sages say: three.  비로 관개되는 밭에서 자란 씨없는 양파와 이집트콩이 비가오는 기간이 2번  지나도록  비가오지 않은 경우 (안식년 다음해에 십일조를 납부하고 사용할 수 있다는 ) 랍비 메이르의 말입니다. 그러나 율법학자들은 우기가 3번 지나도록 비가오지 않은경우 해당된다고 말합니다.
