탈무드 미쉬나 p42( kilayim-p3)

One who buries turnips or radishes beneath a vine, if some of their leaves are uncovered, he need not have fear [of having transgressed] kilayim, or the sabbatical year, or tithes and they may also be pulled up on Shabbat. 포도나무 아래 가지나 무를 심는자는 만일 새싹이 난상태이면 킬레임 (혼합재배) 위반을 걱정할 필요는 없다, 혹은 안식년 규정 혹은 십일조 의무가 적용되지 않으며 안식일에도 뽑을 수 있다.  

 

One who plants a [grain of] wheat and [a grain of] barley at one time, behold this is kilayim. 밀과 보리를  함께 심는 것은 킬레임이다. (※  킬레임은 유대교의 율법에서 금지하는 규정입니다. 따라서, 킬레임에 해당하는 행위는 하지 말아야 한다는 뜻: bard 설명)

 

Rabbi Judah says: it is not kilayim unless there are two grains of wheat and two grains of barley, or one grain of wheat and two grains of barley, or a grain of wheat, a grain of barley and a grain of spelt. 랍비 예후다의 말합니다. "밀2 : 보리 2, 혹은 밀 1: 보리2, 혹은 밀1, 보리1: spelt 1 (밀의 일종)이 함께 심어 있지 않으면 킬레임(혼합재배규정위반)은 아닙니다."

 

Chapter 2 (2장)

  Any seah which contains a quarter [of a kav] of a different species, one should reduce [its proportion of the latter] 1/4 카브[약 540ml]만큼 다른 종류가 섞인 세아(2.12ℓ 해당제물)은 후자의 비율을 줄여야  합니다.  (※ seah "세아"는 "양동이"를 의미, 고대 유대인들은 양동이를 무게 측정 단위로도 사용했슴,. 세아는 약 2.12리터에 해당하는 용량. 세아는 제물 헌납 단위로 사용, : bard 설명)

 

 Rabbi Yose says: one should pick [it all out].  Whether it consists of one species or of two species. 랍비 요세는 섞인것이 한종류이든 두종류이든 상관없이 모두 골라내야 한다고 말합니다. 

 

Rabbi Shimon says: they said this only if it consists of one species. 랍비 시몬은, 한 종류의 씨앗만 섞인 경우에만 골라내야 한다고 말합니다. (※ 랍비 시몬의 입장에 따르면, 두 종류 이상이 섞인것은  이미 불결한 것이므로, 일부만 골라내더라도 여전히 불결하다. 따라서, 모두 골라내지 않고 일부만 골라내는 것은 의미가 없다,  두 종류 이상이 섞인 것은 제물로 받아들여지지 않는다 .: bard 설명)

 

But the sages say: anything which is kilayim, in a seah [it adds up] in making up the quarter. 하지만, 현인들은  말합니다. 킬레임(혼합)인 것은 무엇이든 제물 양동이에 1/4을 더해야 합니다. 

 

To what does this refer? To [an mixture of] grain [occurring] with [different] grain, or pulse with [different] pulse, to grain with pulse, and to pulse with grain. "이것은 무엇에 적용되는가?  다른 종류의 곡물이 섞인 곡물, 혹은 다른 종류의 콩이 섞인 콩,  곡물에 콩이 섞인 것,  콩에 곡물이 섞인 것에 대한 것입니다."

 

However they stated: Seeds from a garden which are not eaten, they add up [with other seeds to form an amount sufficient to prohibit the sowing of a seah] when there is 1/24 of the quantity [of such seed] that is necessary to sow a bet seah. 

그러나 현인들은  말합니다. 먹지않는 정원에서 나온 씨앗은 씨뿌릴 베트(한) 세아의 1/24만큼만 있어도 다른것으로 제물을 충당해야합니다. 

 

Rabbi Shimon says: just as they ruled to be stringent so too they ruled to be lenient flax [mixed in with] produce, combines when there is 1/24 of the quantity [of such seed] that is necessary to sow a bet seah..랍비 시몬은  말합니다. :  엄격한 규칙에 대해서 아마씨에 대해서는 씨뿌릴 베트(한) 세아의 1/24만큼의  [금지된]  아마씨씨앗이 섞여 있을 때에는  완화되어 금지되지 않습니다." (※ 랍비 시몬은 아마씨앗은 일반적으로 식용으로 사용하지 않기 때문에 다른 식물에 섞여 있어도 큰 문제가 없다고 주장합니다. 따라서 아마씨앗이 베트 세아를 심는 데 필요한 양의 1/24만큼만 섞여 있어도 그 혼합물은 금지되지 않는다고 주장합니다. :bard 설명)

If one’s field was sown with wheat, and he changed his mind and decided to sow it with barley, he must wait until it [the wheat] rots. He turns [the soil] and then he may sow [the barley], if it [the wheat] had already grown. 밀을 심은 밭에서 마음을 바꾸어 보리를 심고 싶다면, 밀이 썩을 때까지 기다려야 합니다. 밀이 이미 자랐다면, 흙을 갈아엎은 후에 보리를 심을 수 있습니다.

 

He should not say: “I shall [first] sow [the barley] and, then turn [the soil]” rather he must first turn [the soil] and then sow. 
그는 '일단 먼저 보리를 심고 나서 흙을 갈아엎겠다'고 말해서는 안 되며, 반드시 먼저 흙을 갈아엎은 다음에 보리를 심어야 한다"
